Honeybaked 16U falls to Lansing Capitals 16U after surprising comeback

Undaunted by a three-goal deficit, Lansing Capitals 16U battled back to claim a 6-4 victory over Honeybaked 16U.

Lansing Capitals 16U let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a three hole to pick up the win. Lansing Capitals 16U took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Zack Olen at 10:44 in the first period. Lansing Capitals 16U went down 4-1 after Honeybaked 16U's Riley Doyon put the puck home at 16:59 in the second period. After tying things up at 4-4 on a power play goal by Riley Hestwood at 12:48 in the third, Lansing Capitals 16U got the game-winner from Hestwood at 15:43 in the third period.
