Metro downs Cleveland, 4-1

Chas Distelrath racked up one point to lead the Metro Jets to a 4-1 victory over the Cleveland Jr. Lumberjacks.

Metro kept Cleveland's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alec Rounds made 50 saves on 54 shots.

Metro also got points from Kyle Shreve, who also registered one goal and one assist and Ryan Bloom, who also grabbed two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for Metro came via David Chavis and Spencer Graham, who contributed one each and Tyler Layle and Matt Dempsey, who each chipped in two.

The Jr. Lumberjacks managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Cleveland ended up below its season average of 14.0 penalty minutes per game.

Kameron Limburg recorded 24 saves for the Jets. Metro avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of one power plays. The Jr. Lumberjacks registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
