Jared Bromberg gave the La Crosse Freeze a 3-2 (OT) victory over the St. Louis Jr. Blues when he scored 36 seconds into the extra period. In the losing effort, St. Louis was sparked by Andy McGlynn, who registered two goals. McGlynn scored the first of his two goals at 5:51 into the second period to make the score 1-0 St. Louis. Daniel Dunaway assisted on the tally. McGlynn's next tally made the score 2-2 with 3:04 left in the third period. The Jr. Blues had gotten the advantage when La Crosse's Taylor Trapp was sent off for tripping. Austin Dempski picked up the assist. In a losing effort, St. Louis was led by McGlynn, who grabbed two goals. The Freeze kept the Jr. Blues' goalie busy throughout the game, and William Hindle made 43 saves on 46 shots. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. La Crosse also had goals scored by Hunter Dragosh and Jake Lipski, who scored one goal each. In addition, La Crosse received assists from Daniel Toycen and Jack Sterne, who contributed one each. More assists for St. Louis came via Andrew Wingbermuehle, who had one. Andrew Wagner rejected 28 shots on goal for La Crosse. The Freeze incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
