The Pittsburgh Vengeance's Nils Markgren scored 1:31 into overtime to beat the Toledo Cherokee, 3-2 (OT).

Pittsburgh got the win with help from a great game by Eli Lynn, who had one goal and two assists. Lynn scored 59 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-1 Pittsburgh. Tyler Speis picked up the assist.

Pittsburgh additionally got points from Speis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Pittsburgh were Leo Blore and Bryan Hovanec, who each chipped in one.

Toledo excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

The Cherokee were led by Brody Duncan, who finished with one goal and one assist. Duncan scored 19:28 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Tyler Zalecki provided the assist. Zach Swanson also scored for Toledo. In addition, Toledo received assists from Cam Schwartz and Cody Estrel, who contributed one each.

Brian Baker made 24 saves for the Vengeance on 26 shots. Pittsburgh incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Toledo's Glen Bates stopped 20 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Cherokee incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
