The Nashville Jr. Predators used a five-goal second period to put away the St. Louis Jr. Blues, 8-2.

Nashville got the win with help from a great game by Nickolas Tandeski, who had one goal and three assists. Tandeski scored 13:26 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Nashville.

The Jr. Predators forced St. Louis' goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, finishing with 52 shots and forcing 44 saves. William Hindle made 24 stops and Cooper Cothran made 20. Nashville surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Jr. Predators average 5.0 goals per contest.

Nashville additionally got points from Matiss Gelazis, who also had one goal and one assist and Ben Falk, who also racked up two goals and one assist. Nashville also had goals scored by Noah Keener, Topi Samuli Aheristo, Jon Severson, and Nick Mammel, who scored one goal each. More assists for Nashville came via Peter Cabala, Keegan Haines, Zach Greenwood, Trent Kulczyk, Kyle Van Wyk, Cole Helgemo, Nicholas Redmon, and Colton Anderson, who contributed one each.

The Jr. Blues were helped by Adam Havener, who registered one goal. Havener scored on the power play 12:02 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Nashville. St. Louis earned a power play opportunity when Helgemo was put in the box for charging. Andrew McGlynn provided the assist. St. Louis also got points from McGlynn, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, St. Louis received assists from Andrew Bond and Alex Klaesner, who each chipped in one.
