Wylie's big game bests Yellowstone in 6-0 Great Falls win

Wade Wylie had two goals and one assist to lead the Great Falls Americans to a 6-0 victory over the Yellowstone Quake.

Wylie's tallies came at 2:23 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Great Falls and 4:51 into the third to make the score 5-0 Great Falls.

Great Falls forced Yellowstone goalie Lance Knudson to work between the pipes, taking 51 shots. The Americans surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Great Falls has scored at the pace of 3.7 goals per game during the current campaign.

Great Falls also got points from Lucas Lomax, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Reed Link, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Joshua Larson, who also had one goal and two assists. Dylan Garton also scored for Great Falls. In addition, Great Falls received assists from Georgy Ostapchuk and Connor Barta, who contributed one each and Zack Mese and Cody Page, who each chipped in two.

The Quake's offense operated below their season average. Yellowstone averages 2.2 goals per game.

Jordan Moran rejected 20 shots on goal for the Americans. Great Falls incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Lance Knudson made 45 saves for the Quake on 51 shots. Yellowstone incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
