Nashville downs Dallas, 6-3

Matiss Gelazis registered two points to lead the Nashville Jr. Predators to a 6-3 victory over the Dallas Jr. Stars.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Nashville additionally got points from Ben Falk, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Keegan Haines, who also had one goal and one assist, Trent Kulczyk, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Kyle Van Wyk, who also registered one goal and one assist. Nashville also got a goal from Nick Mammel as well. In addition, Nashville received assists from Jon Severson, who had two.

Dallas was led by Kayne Fedor, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Fedor scored 2:57 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Others who scored for Dallas included Alex Williams and Blake McIntyre, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Dallas were Tommy Estenes, who had one.

Nashville's Evan Cline stopped 12 shots out of the 15 that he faced. The Jr. Predators incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Chris Mallon made 24 saves for the Jr. Stars on 29 shots. Dallas totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play. For the Jr. Stars, Tyler Valentin was ejected from the game.
