Great Falls blows out Glacier, 7-0

The Great Falls Americans had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-0 win over Glacier.

Great Falls was led by Wade Wylie, who had one goal. Wylie scored 16:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Great Falls. Zack Mese picked up the assist.

Glacier was unable to stop the Americans from sending pucks towards the net, and Great Falls eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. The Americans outdid their season average for goals scored. Great Falls has scored at the pace of 3.7 goals per game during the current campaign.

Great Falls also got points from Lucas Lomax, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Georgy Ostapchuk, who also registered one goal and one assist, Cody Page, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, and Brendan Jester, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Great Falls included Blake Miller and Erik Gatson, who scored one goal each. In addition, Great Falls received assists from Dylan Garton, Reed Link, Lucas Stover, Miles Giorgione, Malachi Bushey, Connor Barta, and Adam Apangalook, who contributed one each.

Glacier found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 12 shots against the Americans' defense.

Great Falls' Jordan Moran stopped 12 shots out of the 12 that he faced. The Americans incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Ryan Lund rejected 29 shots on goal for Glacier. Glacier totaled 27 minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Glacier ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Joshua Larson was ejected from the game.
