Aaron Torres netted a hat trick to lead the Dallas Jr. Stars over the Sugar Land Imperials, 6-3.

Torres' first goal came 19:49 into the first period. He then added goals at 8:14 into the second and at 18:54 into the third.

Dallas forced Sugar Land's goalies to work between the pipes, firing 35 shots and forcing 29 saves. Colton Anderson made 16 stops and Roni Sener made 13. The Jr. Stars surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Dallas averages 2.5 goals per game.

Dallas additionally got points from Trent Wolter, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Dallas included Brooks Blackburn and Wyatt Gentry, who each put in one. Sugar Land also got points from Campbell, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Alex Tilman, who also registered one goal and one assist.
