Nashville downs Point Mallard in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Trent Kulczyk gave the Nashville Jr. Predators a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Point Mallard Ducks when he scored 3:50 into the extra period.

Kulczyk had a great game for Nashville, netting two goals.

The Jr. Predators' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Point Mallard power plays. Nashville kept Point Mallard's goalie busy throughout the game, and Roman Bengert made 31 saves on 34 shots.

Nashville also got a goal from Ben Falk as well. More assists for Nashville came via Matiss Gelazis, who had two and Topi Samuli Aheristo, Jon Evans, Nicholas Redmon, and Colton Anderson, who contributed one each.

The Ducks were helped by Josh Hamilton, who finished with one goal. Hamilton scored 17:33 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Jake Champaign assisted on the tally. Jake Cox also scored for Point Mallard. In addition, Point Mallard received assists from Matt Goodman, who had one.

The Jr. Predators' Evan Cline stopped 22 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Nashville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Point Mallard incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
