The Bozeman Icedogs tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Billings Bulls would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-5.

Billings made the score 6-4 on a goal by Josh Pena at 7:37 in the third period, and Bozeman got as close as 6-5 when Devin Panzeca scored 18:53 into the third period.

The Bulls got the win behind a great game by TJ Theodosopoulos, who had two goals and two assists. Theodosopoulos scored the first of his two goals at 43 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Billings. Steven Thompson picked up the assist. Theodosopoulos' next tally made the score 5-4 Billings with 29 seconds left in the second period. Ralfs Karelis provided the assist.

Billings forced Icedogs' netminders to work between the pipes, racking up 36 shots and forcing 30 saves. Denijs Romanovskis made 22 stops and Steven Frank made eight. The Bulls surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Billings averages 3.4 goals per game.

Billings also got points from Pena, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Cameron Birklid, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Tristan Henrichs, who also had one goal and one assist.
