The Great Falls Americans survived a determined comeback attempt by Glacier on the way to a 2-1 win.

Great Falls made the score 2-0 on a goal by Zack Mese at 6:35 in the second period, and Glacier got as close as 2-1 when Wyatt Fretheim scored 14:32 into the third period.

The Americans were led by Mese, who grabbed one goal.

Glacier was unable to stop Great Falls from sending pucks towards the net, and the Americans eventually piled up 56 shots on goal.

Great Falls also got points from Malachi Bushey, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Great Falls came via Dylan Garton, who had one.

In addition, Glacier received assists from Dustin Foran and Tyler McMahon, who each chipped in one.

Great Falls' Lauren Massie stopped 16 shots out of the 17 that he faced. The Americans incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Ryan Lund rejected 54 shots on goal for Glacier. Glacier incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
