Denijs Romanovskis was superb between the pipes for the Bozeman Icedogs, as he did not allow a goal in a 1-0 victory over the Helena Bighorns.

Gunnar Mogck's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 15:52 in the second period. Bozeman had gotten the advantage when Helena's Blake Babineau was sent off for tripping. Jake Nicks picked up the assist.

The Icedogs were led by Mogck, who finished with one goal.

Bozeman stifled the Bighorns' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Helena's offense operated below its season average. The Bighorns average 4.3 goals per game. Helena kept the Icedogs' goalie busy throughout the game, and Romanovskis made 48 saves on 48 shots.

Bozeman incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Bighorns' Grant Martens stopped 25 shots out of the 26 that he faced. Helena totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 0-for-3 on the power play.
