Devin Farkas lifted the West Michigan Wolves to a 3-1 victory with a hat trick against the St. Louis Jr. Blues. Farkas notched his first tally 8:36 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:19 into the first and at 17:36 into the second.St. Louis was stymied by West Michigan's netminder Hunter Vorva, who stopped 29 shots during the victory. Vorva certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.0 entering the contest. Other players who recorded assists for West Michigan were Kyle Keeder, who had one, Michael Tratar, who had two, and Dakota Ulmer, who had three. The Jr. Blues were led by Sam Yauch, who scored the team's only goal. Yauch scored 18:54 into the second period to make the score 3-1 West Michigan. Chris Brown picked up the assist. The Wolves incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Cooper Cothran rejected 26 shots on goal for St. Louis. The Jr. Blues incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
