The Cincinnati Swords fell behind early, and the Nashville Jr. Predators kept piling on the points on the way to a 10-0 victory.

Nashville's penalty kill excelled, as the Jr. Predators gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Nashville was paced by Jesse Hyde, who finished with one goal and one assist. Hyde scored 5:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Nashville. Topi Samuli Aheristo picked up the assist.

The Jr. Predators forced Cincinnati's goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, getting 60 shots and forcing 50 saves. Brandon Kruger made 20 stops and James Schroeder made 30. Nashville stifled the Swords' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Jr. Predators found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, Nashville averages 5.3 goals per contest.

Nashville also got points from Aheristo, who also had one goal and two assists, Trent Kulczyk, who also registered two goals and one assist, Colton Anderson, who also tallied two goals and one assist, and Alex Durand, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Nashville also had goals scored by Nickolas Tandeski, Zach Greenwood, and Nathaniel Chiarizzio, who each put in one. In addition, Nashville received assists from Noah Keener, Matiss Gelazis, Rudolfs Kalvitis, Kyle Van Wyk, Jon Evans, and Jacob Elrod, who contributed one each and Jacob Lainesse and Nicholas Redmon, who each chipped in two.

Nathan Klebe made 18 saves for the Jr. Predators on 18 shots. Nashville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Cincinnati incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
