Lundstrom's goals lift Billings to 5-2 victory over Yellowstone

Behind a great game by Alex Lundstrom, who had two goals, the Billings Bulls defeated the Yellowstone Quake, 5-2.

Lundstrom scored at 12:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Billings and again while 3:06 into the third to make the score 3-2 Billings.

Billings kept Yellowstone's goalie busy throughout the game, and Lance Knudson made 33 saves on 38 shots. The Bulls' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Billings also got points from Ian Eshbaugh, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Billings included Nick Rizzo and Tristan Henrichs, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Billings were Ian Wiljanen, who had three and Ralfs Karelis, Steven Thompson, Bryce Jensen, and Josh Pena, who each chipped in one.

Billings was unable to stop the Quake from sending pucks towards the net, and Yellowstone eventually piled up 47 shots on goal.

The Quake were helped by Max Doner, who registered one goal. Doner scored 17:15 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Billings. Kevin Froelich provided the assist. Yellowstone additionally got points from Sawyer Scanlan, who also registered one goal and one assist. Yellowstone also got a goal from Josh Neumann as well.

Alexander Meagher recorded 45 saves for the Bulls. Billings incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Yellowstone incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
