Tandeski's big game bests St. Louis in 4-1 Nashville win

Nickolas Tandeski was all over the ice for the Nashville Jr. Predators, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Nashville's 4-1 win over the St. Louis Jr. Blues.

Tandeski's tallies came at 4:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Nashville and on the power play 7:02 into the second to make the score 2-1 Nashville.

The Jr. Predators' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four St. Louis power plays. St. Louis was unable to stop Nashville from sending pucks towards the net, and the Jr. Predators eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.

Nashville additionally got points from Ben Falk, who also registered one goal and one assist and Kyle Van Wyk, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, Nashville received assists from Rudolfs Kalvitis, Zach Greenwood, and Jacob Lainesse, who each chipped in one.

The Jr. Blues' penalty kill unit could not stop Nashville's power play, which converted on two of three opportunities.

St. Louis was led by Sam Yauch, who scored the team's only goal. Yauch scored 19:06 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Chris Brown provided the assist.

Nathan Klebe recorded 22 saves for the Jr. Predators. Nashville incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. William Hindle rejected 40 shots on goal for the Jr. Blues. St. Louis incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
