Huge game by Falk boosts Nashville over St. Louis, 7-4

The Nashville Jr. Predators' Ben Falk had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 7-4 win over the St. Louis Jr. Blues.

Falk found the back of the net 5:08 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Nashville and again while 12:30 into the second to make the score 3-1 Nashville.

Nashville kept St. Louis' goalie busy throughout the game, and Cooper Cothran made 33 saves on 40 shots. The Jr. Predators' normally stingy defense allowed more goals than usual. Nashville gives up 1.9 goal per game.

Nashville also got points from Trent Kulczyk, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Nick Mammel, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Others who scored for Nashville included Nickolas Tandeski and Alex Durand, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Nashville were Rudolfs Kalvitis, Jacob Lainesse, Kyle Van Wyk, and Nicholas Redmon, who contributed one each and Peter Cabala and Colton Anderson, who each chipped in two.

The Jr. Blues managed to stay out of the box for the most part, totaling one minor for 22 minutes in penalty time. However, the total the 17.0 minutes in penalty time per game St. Louis had been averaging this year.

The Jr. Blues were led by Adam Havener, who registered one goal and two assists. Havener scored 19:46 into the third period to make the score 7-4 Nashville. Zeth OBryan picked up the assist. St. Louis additionally got points from Brian Schumacher, who also had one goal and one assist. St. Louis also got a goal from Alex Klaesner as well. More assists for St. Louis came via Chris Brown, who had one.

Justin Ball made 16 saves for the Jr. Predators on 20 shots. Nashville incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. St. Louis registered two goals on five power play opportunities.
