The Bozeman Icedogs had trouble finding ways to stop the Pittsburgh Vengeance, which beat Icedogs, 7-2. Pittsburgh got the win behind a great game by Nils Markgren, who had one goal and two assists. Markgren scored 18:44 into the third period to make the score 7-2 Pittsburgh. Kenneth White provided the assist. The Vengeance stifled Bozeman's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Pittsburgh surpassed its usual scoring output this season.
