Austin Jackson finished with two points to lead the North Iowa Bulls to a 4-1 victory over the Granite City Lumberjacks. North Iowa put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Granite City to score on any of its four power plays. The Bulls forced the Lumberjacks goalie Jesse Garcia to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. North Iowa could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 22 minutes in penalties during the game. North Iowa additionally got points from Dylan Zins, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for North Iowa included Sam Naegele and Brett Gravelle, who each put in one.
