Great Falls rolls over Billings, 3-0

The Billings Bulls had trouble finding ways to stop the Great Falls Americans, which beat Bulls, 3-0.

Great Falls was sparked by Lucas Lomax, who racked up one goal. Lomax scored on the power play 9:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Great Falls. The Americans had gained a power play chance when Alex Lundstrom was whistled for slashing. Erik Gatson assisted on the tally.

Great Falls put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Billings to score on any of its four power plays.

Others who scored for Great Falls included Hunter Garris and Adam Apangalook, who each put in one. In addition, Great Falls received assists from Robert Kalata, Dylan Garton, Michael Kliment, and Zack Mese, who each chipped in one.

The Bulls did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Billings puts an average of 3.5 pucks into the net per game.

Evan Hauser recorded 23 saves for the Americans. Great Falls incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Cole Semchak made 23 saves for the Bulls on 25 shots. Billings incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
