Lundstrom lifts Billings over Bozeman, 3-1

The Billings Bulls relied on the scoring touch of Alex Lundstrom, who netted two goals, to beat the Bozeman Icedogs, 3-1.

Lundstrom's tallies came on the power play at 16:43 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Billings and short handed 19:17 into the third to make the score 3-1 Billings.

Bozeman was stymied by Billings' netminder Alexander Meagher, who stopped 25 shots during the victory. Meagher managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.56 prior to the game.

The Bulls stifled the Icedogs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Bozeman was unable to stop Billings from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bulls eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

Billings additionally got points from Nick Rizzo, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Billings received assists from Wolfgang Davis, Reed Kaiser, Tristan Henrichs, and Ian Wiljanen, who each chipped in one.

The Icedogs were led by Kyler Chartier, who scored the team's only goal. Chartier scored 15:52 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Kegan Couture assisted on the tally.

Billings incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Bozeman's Denijs Romanovskis stopped 31 shots out of the 34 that he faced. The Icedogs incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
