Justin Edwards grabbed one point to lead the La Crosse Freeze to a 7-3 victory over the St. Louis Jr. Blues. La Crosse forced Jr. Blues' goalies to work in net, taking 46 shots and forcing 39 saves. William Hindle made 33 stops and Cooper Cothran made six. The Freeze stifled St. Louis' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. La Crosse outdid its season average for goals scored. The Freeze average 3.2 goals per game. La Crosse additionally got points from Ben Henderson, who also finished with one goal and one assist. La Crosse also had goals scored by Jace Cseter, who had two and Jake Lipski, Jack Sterne, and Zach Lawson, who each put in one. In addition, La Crosse received assists from Anthony Miller, who had one and Jared Bromberg and Taylor Trapp, who each chipped in two. The Jr. Blues were helped by Franky Melton, who tallied one goal. Melton scored 10:12 into the first period to make the score 3-2 La Crosse. Zeth OBryan provided the assist. St. Louis also got points from Adam Havener, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. St. Louis also got a goal from Trevor Thornton as well. Other players who recorded assists for St. Louis were Brogan Walters and Alex Klaesner, who contributed one each. Cameron Scheuren recorded 25 saves for La Crosse. The Freeze incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. St. Louis incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
