Great Falls downs Bozeman, 4-1

Connor Barta tallied one point to lead the Great Falls Americans to a 4-1 victory over the Bozeman Icedogs.

Great Falls' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Bozeman power plays. The Americans forced Bozeman goalie Denijs Romanovskis to work between the pipes, taking 47 shots.

Great Falls additionally got points from Dylan Garton, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Great Falls included Lucas Lomax and Adam Apangalook, who scored one goal each. In addition, Great Falls received assists from Lucas Stover, who had two and Robert Kalata, Zack Mese, Austin Krantz, and Miles Giorgione, who each chipped in one.

The Icedogs found themselves stymied offensively, and got off a mere 13 shots against Great Falls' defense.

Bozeman was led by Kegan Couture, who scored the team's only goal. Couture scored 2:35 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Great Falls. Coleton Anderson picked up the assist.

The Americans' Lauren Massie stopped 12 shots out of the 13 that he faced. Great Falls incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Denijs Romanovskis made 43 saves for the Icedogs on 47 shots. Bozeman incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
