The Gillette Wild relied on the scoring touch of Cade Boreing, who netted two goals, to beat the Bozeman Icedogs, 7-3.

Boreing's tallies came at 1:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Gillette and short handed 14:04 into the second to make the score 4-2 Gillette.

Gillette's penalty kill excelled, as the Wild gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.
