The Southern Tier Xpress could not stop the Pittsburgh Vengeance's Tyler Speis, who tallied a hat trick in a 4-2 win.

Speis got on the scoresheet 7:50 into the first period. He then added goals at 17:57 into the first and at 14:36 into the second.

Pittsburgh additionally got points from Eli Lynn, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. In addition, Pittsburgh received assists from Leo Blore, who had two and Cody Black, Jake Parry, and Kenneth White, who each chipped in one.
