The Great Falls Americans jumped out to a four-point advantage by the end of the first period and beat the Yellowstone Quake, 12-1.

Hunter Garris had a great game for Great Falls, netting four goals. Garris got on the scoresheet 3:06 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:18 into the first, at 1:22 into the third, and at 16:21 into the third.

The Americans were led by goalie Evan Hauser, who finished with 38 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Hauser will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 1.17.
