Brockville survives Nepean comeback, wins 4-2

The Brockville Braves, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by the Nepean Raiders and clinched a 4-2 victory.

Brockville led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Braves' Eric Israel scored at 1:29 in the second period to put Brockville up 3-0.

The Braves got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Brockville was helped by Tre Folkes, who registered one goal. Folkes scored 19:47 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Brockville. Dylan McCrory assisted on the tally. Brockville also got points from Israel, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Dante Suffredini, who also had one goal and one assist. Brockville also got a goal from Neil Robinson as well. More assists for Brockville came via Ethan Weiss, Michael Murray, Sean King, and Andrew Peski, who each chipped in one.

Nepean was helped by Jody Sullivan, who finished with one goal. Sullivan scored 5:17 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Brockville. Luke McCaw picked up the assist. Nepean additionally got points from Chad Malinowski, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Nepean received assists from Devin Fullum and Nicolas Vlahos, who contributed one each.

Bo Taylor recorded 28 saves for the Braves. Brockville incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Francis Marotte made 25 saves for the Raiders on 28 shots. Nepean incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
