Paul Vella had one point to lead the Hawkesbury Hawks to a 2-0 victory over the Kanata Stallions. Hawkesbury managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Hawks wound up below its season average of 20.0 penalty minutes per game. Hawkesbury's defense was surprisingly good. The Hawks gives up 3.0 goals on average per game. Hawkesbury kept Kanata's goalie busy throughout the game, and Brian Wilson made 32 saves on 34 shots.
