Richer leads Gloucester to shutout victory over CornwallEd Lumley Arena Thu, Feb 12, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
David Richer was superb between the pipes for the Gloucester Rangers, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Cornwall Colts. Gloucester was sparked by Max Veronneau, who racked up one goal. Veronneau scored 1:09 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Gloucester. Ryan Kuffner picked up the assist. The Rangers managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Gloucester ended up below its season average of 18.0 penalty minutes per game. Cornwall was unable to stop the Rangers from sending pucks towards the net, and Gloucester eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.
