Huge game by Chamberland boosts Pembroke over Cumberland, 5-1

The Pembroke Lumber Kings' Felix Chamberland had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-1 win over the Cumberland Grads.

Chamberland scored at 7:45 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Pembroke and again while 7:04 into the third to make the score 4-1 Pembroke.

Pembroke pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 10 penalty minutes.

Cumberland was unable to stop the Lumber Kings from sending pucks towards the net, and Pembroke eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

Pembroke additionally got points from Anthony Nellis, who also registered one goal and one assist. Pembroke also had goals scored by Jesse Blais and Hudson Michaelis, who each put in one. In addition, Pembroke received assists from Brett du Puy, who had one, Alexandre Boivin, who had three, and Ryan Casselman and Adam Dauda, who each chipped in two.

The Grads were led by Brandon Zullo, who scored the team's only goal. Zullo scored on the power play 2:58 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Pembroke. Cumberland had gained a power play chance when Fraser Turner was whistled for interference. Trent Shore provided the assist.

Sean Green rejected 21 shots on goal for the Lumber Kings. Pembroke registered one goal on two power play opportunities. The Grads' Kevin Gollmer stopped 35 shots out of the 40 that he faced. Cumberland incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
