Gloucester outlasts Kemptville, 3-2

The Gloucester Rangers and the Kemptville 73s were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Gloucester made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Diego Gagnon at 10:28 of the third period.

The Rangers were sparked by Gagnon, who finished with one goal.

Gloucester additionally got points from Vincent Guimond, who also registered one goal and one assist. Gloucester also got a goal from Ryan Kuffner as well. More assists for Gloucester came via Matt Foget, Hunter Leishman, Matt Adams, and Jared Leslie, who each chipped in one.

Gloucester was unable to stop Kemptville from sending pucks towards the net, and the 73s eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.

Kemptville was led by Matt Tugnutt, who racked up one goal and one assist. Tugnutt scored 4:14 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Owen Guy assisted on the tally. Erik Brown also scored for Kemptville. In addition, Kemptville received assists from Brandon Lesway, who had two.

David Richer made 35 saves for the Rangers on 37 shots. Gloucester incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The 73s' Jacob Tugnutt stopped 27 shots out of the 30 that he faced. Kemptville incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
