Tanner Spink registered one point to lead the Cornwall Colts to a 2-1 victory over the Smiths Falls Bears.

Cornwall's offense rang up 48 shots on Smiths Falls' net.

Cornwall also got a goal from Marly Quince as well. In addition, Cornwall received assists from Ross Craig, Tristen Elie, Peter Angelopoulos, and Kevin Hope, who each chipped in one.

The Bears stifled the Colts' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Smiths Falls was led by Connor Cobbold, who scored the team's only goal. Cobbold scored 9:24 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Ryan Duhaime picked up the assist.

Cornwall's Denny Dubblestyne stopped 23 shots out of the 24 that he faced. The Colts incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Michael Pinios made 46 saves for the Bears on 48 shots. Smiths Falls incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Bears ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Michael McKenney was ejected from the game.
