The Nepean Raiders had trouble finding ways to stop the Ottawa Senators, which beat Raiders, 4-1. Ottawa was led by Carl Faucher, who registered one goal. Faucher scored 5:16 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Ottawa. Zach Car assisted on the tally. The Senators' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Nepean power plays. Nepean was unable to stop Ottawa from sending pucks towards the net, and the Senators eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Joey Champigny also scored for Ottawa. More assists for Ottawa came via Isaac Anderson, Ryan Cranford, and Jim Pearson, who contributed one each. The Raiders stifled Ottawa's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Nepean could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game. Alexandre Savard-Belanger recorded 18 saves for the Senators. Ottawa incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Francis Marotte rejected 29 shots on goal for the Raiders.
