The Hawkesbury Hawks tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Smiths Falls Bears held on for a 2-1 victory. Smiths Falls took a 2-0 lead during the third period, only to have Hawkesbury storm back on a Jonathan Cyr goal 19:06 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Olivier Chabot had two goals to lead the Bears to victory. Smiths Falls stifled the Hawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. In addition, Smiths Falls received assists from Noah Gurr and Michael McKenney, who contributed one each. Hawkesbury could not produce up to its normal offensive output. The Hawks put an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game. Hawkesbury's offense rang up 34 shots on the Bears' net. More assists for Hawkesbury came via Hunter Racine, who had one. Michael Pinios rejected 33 shots on goal for Smiths Falls. The Bears incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. CJ Sharp made 18 saves for the Hawks on 20 shots.
