Navan Memorial Centre    Fri, Jan 16, 2015

Kanata's Brian Wilson was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 40 saves and let only one puck past him. The solid play of Wilson will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 3.89.

The Stallions' penalty kill excelled, as Kanata gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

The Stallions stifled Cumberland's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Kanata's offense rang up 32 shots on the Grads' net.

Cameron Radziwon also scored for Kanata. Other players who recorded assists for Kanata were Rowan Savidant, Jean-Philippe Langlois, Ian Johnston, James Thomson, and Nicholas Turenko, who each chipped in one.

The Stallions were unable to stop Cumberland from sending pucks towards the net, and the Grads eventually piled up 41 shots on goal. Cumberland was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 20 penalty minutes.

The Grads were led by Chandler Watson, who scored the team's only goal. Watson scored 19:17 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Brandon Zullo provided the assist.
