Kanata falls to Gloucester in overtime, 4-3 (OT)Kanata Recreational Complex Tue, Dec 16, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
Joey Fallon gave the Gloucester Rangers a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Kanata Stallions when he scored 1:52 into the extra period. Gloucester came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Rangers trailed 2-0 after a goal by Kanata's Antoine Paradis at 15:06 in the second period. Gloucester knotted things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Joey Laird at 19:23 in the third period. The Rangers were led by Fallon, who had one goal and one assist. Gloucester kept the Stallions' goalie busy throughout the game, and Andrew Cipollone made 35 saves on 39 shots. Gloucester additionally got points from Bobby Williams, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Matt Foget, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Vincent Guimond also scored for Gloucester. In addition, Gloucester received assists from Zachary Borsoi, who had two and Diego Gagnon and Chris Morgan, who each chipped in one. The Rangers were unable to stop Kanata from sending pucks towards the net, and the Stallions eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Kanata also got a goal from Dylan Mascarin as well. More assists for Kanata came via Johnny Kyte, Bryce Biller, Jean-Philippe Langlois, Hugo Petit, Ian Johnston, and Ethan MacLean, who contributed one each. David Richer rejected 28 shots on goal for Gloucester. The Rangers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kanata incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
