Kemptville falls to Gloucester in overtime, 4-3 (OT)Earl Armstrong Arena Sun, Nov 16, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
The Gloucester Rangers pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Kemptville 73s on a clutch goal by Joey Fallon. Kemptville could not complete its climb out of a two-goal hole. Gloucester made it 3-1 on a goal by Matt Foget at 7:55 in the third period. The 73s pulled to within 3-2 on a goal by Brandon Cole at 11:54 in the third period. Fallon had a great game for the Rangers, netting two goals. Fallon scored at 14:45 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 4:56 into the fourth to make the score 4-3 Gloucester. Gloucester forced 73s' netminders to work in net, ripping 38 shots and forcing 34 saves. Jacob Tugnutt made 11 stops and Nicholas Hodgins made 23. Gloucester additionally got points from Foget, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Gloucester also got a goal from Vincent Guimond as well. Kemptville stifled the Rangers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The 73s were led by Jason Tackett, who finished with one goal and one assist. Tackett scored on the power play 3:34 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville. An interference penalty on Chris Morgan had put Kemptville on the power play. Erik Brown provided the assist. Dean Galasso also scored for Kemptville. In addition, Kemptville received assists from Brandon Seatter and Alex Row, who contributed one each. David Richer rejected 21 shots on goal for Gloucester. The Rangers incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. The 73s incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
