Hodgins, Kemptville blank Gloucester, 8-0

Nicholas Hodgins made 38 saves to complete the shutout and led the Kemptville 73s to an 8-0 win against the Gloucester Rangers.

Shawn Cameron had two goals to lead Kemptville to victory. Cameron found the back of the net 59 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville and again while 11:47 into the third to make the score 7-0 Kemptville.

The 73s' offense rang up 40 shots on Gloucester's net. Kemptville's goal total was higher than its season average. The 73s average 3.4 goals per game.

Kemptville additionally got points from Quinn Wichers, who also had one goal and one assist, Kaelan OFlynn, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Jason Tackett, who also registered one goal and one assist, Erik Brown, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Matt Tugnutt, who also had one goal and four assists to lead the team in points. Alex Row also scored for Kemptville. In addition, Kemptville received assists from Cody Hendsbee, Aaron Hickie, and Dean Galasso, who contributed one each and Brandon Cole and Jake Gaudet, who each chipped in two.
