Ottawa downs Kanata, 3-1

Charles Corriveau finished with one point to lead the Ottawa Senators to a 3-1 victory over the Kanata Stallions.

Ottawa's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Kanata power plays. Kanata was unable to stop the Senators from sending pucks towards the net, and Ottawa eventually piled up 46 shots on goal.

Ottawa additionally got points from Sean Rappleyea, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Ottawa also got a goal from Ryan Cranford as well. More assists for Ottawa came via Connor Bebb, who had two and Derek Varrin, Joey Champigny, and Jim Pearson, who contributed one each.

The Stallions were led by Domenic Camastra, who scored the team's only goal. Camastra scored 13:15 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Nic Marchand picked up the assist.

Ian Andriano recorded 19 saves for the Senators. Ottawa incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Kanata's Brian Wilson stopped 43 shots out of the 46 that he faced. The Stallions incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
