Alex Vala registered two points to lead the Carleton Place Canadians to a 4-1 victory over the Cornwall Colts.

Others who scored for Carleton Place included Tyson Stewart, Wesley Baker, and Jordan Larson, who scored one goal each. In addition, Carleton Place received assists from Stephen Baylis, who had two and Willie Brooks, Andy Sturtz, Connor Merkley, Craig Pefley, and Nicolas Mucci, who each chipped in one.

Cornwall could not produce up to its normal offensive output. The Colts put an average of 3.2 pucks into the net per game.

Cornwall was led by Zac Tierney, who scored the team's only goal. Tierney scored 11:10 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Ross Craig assisted on the tally.

Adrian Clark rejected 15 shots on goal for Carleton Place. The Canadians incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Colts' Denny Dubblestyne stopped 23 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Cornwall incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
