The Carleton Place Canadians pulled out a 7-6 (OT) overtime victory over the Smiths Falls Bears on a clutch goal by Stephen Baylis. Carleton Place came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Canadians was down 6-4 after a power play goal by Smiths Falls' Karson McCartney at 17:03 in the second period. Carleton Place knotted things up at 6-6 on a goal by Andy Sturtz at 19:01 in the third period. Sturtz and Baylis provided the spark for the Canadians, combining for two goals and three assists. Sturtz tallied one goal and three assists and Baylis also added one goal. Carleton Place forced the Bears goalie Michael Pinios to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots.
