A hat trick by Marly Quince was the highlight in Colts' 5-0 win against the Kanata Stallions.

Quince's first goal came 14:46 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:30 into the second and at 8:47 into the second.

The Cornwall Colts forced Stallions' goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, firing 31 shots and forcing 26 saves. Cole Skinner made 10 stops and Brian Wilson made 16. Cornwall's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Kanata power plays.

Cornwall additionally got points from Kevin Hope, who also had one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Cornwall also got a goal from Keegan Mulhearn as well. In addition, Cornwall received assists from Nick Lalonde, who had two and Ross Craig and Zac Tierney, who contributed one each.

Denny Dubblestyne rejected 18 shots on goal for the Colts. Cornwall incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Kanata incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
