Jarzabek lifts Toronto Jr. Canadiens over Orangeville, 4-1

Nicholas Jarzabek was all over the ice for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens, as he tallied two goals in Toronto Jr. Canadiens' 4-1 win over the Orangeville Flyers.

Jarzabek's tallies came at 3:57 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Toronto Jr. Canadiens and 14:15 into the second to make the score 3-1 Toronto Jr. Canadiens.

The Junior Canadiens' Nathan Colitto was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past him. Colitto managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.34 prior to the game.

Toronto Jr. Canadiens' offense rang up 33 shots on Orangeville's net.

Toronto Jr. Canadiens additionally got points from Anthony Repaci, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Toronto Jr. Canadiens also got a goal from Kennedy Duguid as well. More assists for Toronto Jr. Canadiens came via Justin Maiolino, who had three and Ian Chen, Aaron Spivak, Michael Mannara, and Nicholas Favaro, who contributed one each.

The Flyers were led by Lucas Smilsky, who scored the team's only goal. Smilsky scored on the power play 3:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Orangeville. Orangeville had gained a power play chance when Owen Tippett was whistled for roughing. Connor Stack provided the assist.

The Junior Canadiens incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Wyatt Pickrell rejected 29 shots on goal for the Flyers. Orangeville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Flyers ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Shawn Topatigh was ejected from the game.
