Toronto Patriots outlasts Pickering, 3-2

The game between the Toronto Patriots Patriots and the Pickering Panthers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Toronto Patriots emerged with a 3-2 win.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Nicholas Ursitti at 10:21 of the third period.

Ursitti had two goals to lead the Patriots to victory.

Toronto Patriots additionally got points from Tyler Currie, who also registered one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Patriots were Mitch Emerson, Niko Kovachis, Marcus Rose, Nicholas Geiser, and Jeremy Pullara, who each chipped in one.

Pickering kept Toronto Patriots' goalie busy throughout the game, and Mathew Robson made 35 saves on 37 shots.

The Panthers were led by Chris Sekelyk, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Sekelyk scored on the power play 27 seconds into the third period to make the score 2-2. Blake Coffey picked up the assist. Pickering also got a goal from John Hudgin as well. In addition, Pickering received assists from BJ Salerno, who had one.

The Patriots incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. For Toronto Patriots, Matthew Cairns was ejected from the game. Pickering's Austin Washkurak stopped 27 shots out of the 30 that he faced. The Panthers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
