Daniel Urbani made 28 saves to complete the shutout and led the Kingston Voyageurs to a 7-0 win against the North York Rangers.

Cole Bolton was all over the ice for Kingston, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Bolton scored the first of his two goals short handed at 11:09 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Kingston. The Voyageurs found themselves down a man on Blake ONeill's head contact. Matt Hoover provided the assist. Bolton's next tally short handed made the score 5-0 Kingston with 4:56 left in the second period. Reid Russell picked up the assist.

Kingston forced North York's goaltenders to work all game long, ripping 42 shots and forcing 35 saves. Gianluca Baggetta made 20 stops and Evgueni Makarski made 15. The Voyageurs put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Rangers to score on any of their six power plays. Kingston featured an improved defense during the game. The Voyageurs average 2.6 goals allowed per game. Kingston found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Voyageurs average 3.8 goals per game.

Kingston also had goals scored by Corey Caruso, who had two and Zachary Emelifeonwu, Michael Crocock, and Adam Brady, who each put in one. In addition, Kingston received assists from Alex Tonge, who had four and Colin Tonge, Adam Moodie, Joey Rutkowski, Rory McGuire, and Spencer Green, who contributed one each.

North York could not produce up to its normal offensive output. The Rangers average 3.6 goals per game.
