Matthew Ferrari gave the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens a 2-1 (OT) victory over the Kingston Voyageurs when he scored 2:08 into the extra period.

Toronto Jr. Canadiens was led by goalie Daniel Lopapa, who finished with 29 saves while allowing one goal. Lopapa certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.76 entering the contest.

Kingston's power play was ineffective against the Junior Canadiens' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

Toronto Jr. Canadiens' offense rang up 34 shots on the Voyageurs' net. The Junior Canadiens found themselves short handed often, totaling 24 penalty minutes and allowing six power plays.

Anthony Trujillo also scored for Toronto Jr. Canadiens. In addition, Toronto Jr. Canadiens received assists from Nicholas Jarzabek, who had one.

Kingston's offense operated below its season average. The Voyageurs average 3.8 goals per game. Kingston could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Voyageurs were led by Adam Brady, who scored the team's only goal. Brady scored on the power play 7:50 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Kingston had gotten the advantage when Toronto Jr. Canadiens' Andrew Mullen was sent off for hooking. Alex Tonge provided the assist.

The Junior Canadiens registered one goal on five power play opportunities. The Voyageurs' Matt Penta stopped 32 shots out of the 34 that he faced.
