Trenton led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Golden Hawks' Liam Morgan scored at 12:16 in the third period to put Trenton up 4-1.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

The Golden Hawks were led by Hunter Fargey, who racked up one goal and one assist. Fargey scored 18:24 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Trenton. Chrisitian Lloyd provided the assist.
