Will Cook finished with two points to lead the Wellington Dukes to a 4-1 victory over the Kingston Voyageurs. Wellington managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Dukes ended up below its season average of 11.0 penalty minutes per game. Wellington kept Kingston's goalie busy throughout the game, and Daniel Urbani made 32 saves on 36 shots. Wellington also got points from Joe McKeown, who also registered one goal and one assist. Wellington also had goals scored by Luc Brown and Griffin McCarty, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Wellington were Jacob Hetherington, who had three and Marco Azzano, Brandon Kosik, and Jake Falcao, who each chipped in one. The Voyageurs put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Dukes to score on any of their four power plays. Kingston did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Voyageurs average 4.0 goals per game. Kingston was led by Alex Stothart, who scored the team's only goal. Stothart scored 11:58 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Joey Beaudoin provided the assist. Olivier Lafreniere recorded 24 saves for Wellington. The Voyageurs incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
