The Aurora Tigers had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over the Orangeville Flyers.

Aurora's Andy Munroe was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 28 saves and let only one puck past him. Munroe managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.52 prior to the game.

The Tigers were led by Daniel Mantenuto, who finished with one goal. Mantenuto scored 3:55 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Aurora.

Aurora's offense rang up 41 shots on Orangeville's net.

Aurora also got points from Johnny Curran, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Taylor Joseph, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Eric Williams, who also registered one goal and one assist, Liam Neuman, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Nicholas Erb, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Aurora received assists from Noah Delmas and Cameron Morrison, who contributed one each and Keaton Ratcliffe and Mack Lemmon, who each chipped in two.

The Flyers' offense operated below their season average. Orangeville averages 3.4 goals per game.

The Tigers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Wyatt Pickrell rejected 35 shots on goal for the Flyers. Orangeville incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
